Sara Grise’s journey has taken her from the plains of the Midwest to the beaches of Southern California, and the desert sands of Arizona—each step enriching her artistry and perspective. Along the way, she’s captured the essence of diverse people, cultures, and landscapes through her award-winning photography.

Her love for photography began in small-town Indiana, where she documented the spirit of communities like Elkhart, South Bend, and Warsaw. She honed her talent further at Purdue University in West Lafayette, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Photography while competing on the school’s nationally ranked water polo team.

After graduation, Sara headed west to the renowned Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. The contrast between Indiana’s crisp winters and Southern California’s golden light helped her develop a unique style—defined by a masterful understanding of texture, lighting, and environment.

Today, Sara lives in Marietta, Georgia with her husband, twin boys (born July 2011), her adopted teenage nephew (joined their family in 2013), a rescue dog named Stella, and a cat named Stoli. She continues to grow her craft, balancing her passion for photography with her dedication to lifelong learning and connection.

Sara now combines her visual storytelling skills with her growing business expertise, helping clients capture moments and build meaningful brands.
